We had the absolute pleasure of working with Becca for the birth of our first born on 9/24. Prior to birth, she came to our home multiple times to create a birth plan, help organize our nursery (AMAZING) and bring over a birthing ball/tens unit/colostrum collectors. She was available and responsive for our questions and even connected us with a backup doula in the case she became ill during our birth timeframe (flu season). As labor began, we woke her in the dead of the night to come to the hospital. She was there advocating for everything we'd discussed on my birth plan but also was very non judgemental when I tapped out and accepted an epidural. She supported me in ways I didn't even know I needed and even got me McDonald's right before the epidural. She's an actual angel! We love her so much!!! Thank you, Becca!!

Becca is so wonderful. I was introduced to her through a friend who knew I was looking for extra support and care through my 4th pregnancy, and Becca provides just that. Even though it was my 4th baby it was my first I wanted to go all natural and Becca supported me the whole way through! She helped create  a thourough birth plan with me, had lots of discussion and questions and sent me support through information and videos. She also came and cleaned some of my home, did laundry and took my 3 kids to the park so I could nap. She's a dream! More like a friend than just a doula, she will support you and advocate for you through the entire process. I honestly felt peace and comfort having her in the room when I gave birth and she also took a video and pictures of it all which is such a gift to me. She is amazing, and you definitely want her in your corner as a support when you give birth!

We hired Becca as a birth doula to help us welcome our first daughter ito the world. She was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of during the twists and turns of the birth process. We planned for a birth center and she met us there. She suggested some positions and helped guide my husband in how he could support me. We ended up transferring to the hospital after 9-10 hours of labor. At the hospital, she made sure I understood things, stepped in to ask questions of the nurses and doctors to clarify things, and traded off with my husband to give him some breaks in supporting me. In the end, after 8 1/2 hours of pushing, we had to pivot our plans again. She stood by me as I made the decision to get a c-section. Becca was amazingly supportive of our decision and reassured me that even though it wasn't what we wanted, that we were being so brave to make the best decision for our daughter. She talked me through how it would probably go and even though I was only allowed 1 support person in the operating room , she stayed at the hospital until after the surgery to celebrate our baby girl with us. There is no way we would have made it through everything we did as well as we did without her by our side. If you aren't sure about getting a doula or not, I would 100% suggest hiring Becca to walk through your birth with you. You never know what birth will bring, and having somebody so supportive and amazing as Becca in your corner makes all the difference!
